Ananda Temple is one of the bigger temple in Bagan, and a popular tourist temple. A lot of locals use it too. All Buddhist in Myanmar visit a Buddhist Temple or Pagoda twice a day. 
Beautiful Bagan
We are here in the summer for Bagan (late April), and that is low season, so lots of things are closed. But even though it’s much hotter here now than in high season, it’s nice to be able to travel around without the busloads of tourist which are here in the high season.
