Tattoos in Mongolia

We have talked about getting tattos in Mongolia for a while. As a souvineer from a cool far away place. We stumbled across a tatto shop in the back of a designer/thrift store called Red Wood store. The artist was there and we made an appointment for a cuple of days later with the help of google transelate. He didn’t know much english but made a good impression.

Maren went first, she knew she wanted a bluebird, but left the details up to the artist.

He had some really good ideas and Maren was very happy. It soon became clear that he was a really good tatto artist. Look at this amazing artwork.

Trond spotted some awards hanging on the wall, but our mongolian is as good as google tranlate, so we are not sure in what.

Trond was unsure on what he wanted, but knew he wanted something that was Mongolian. He descussed it with the artist who came up with an idea.

Trond was super happy with the artwork.

We asked if we could get photos of him for the blogg and he agreed with a smile. He told us his name, but the languagebarrier made it impossible for us to be sure what it was.

When we went to pay, it was so little we couldn’t belive it. 200 000 mongolian, which is 56 USD for both tattoos.

We think the name of the studio is Black Nomad tattoo, this is the sign to look for.
